Open Your Mind is a fusion of a traditional street dance battle and improvisational theater. DBC, the Dutch Bboy Championship, is the longest-running national breaking competition in the Netherlands. Crews from across the country compete annually for the national title. Breaking, now an Olympic sport, will debut at the 2024 Paris Games. The NADB (Dutch General Dance Sport Association) ensures Dutch Breakers will compete on this global stage, collaborating with various organizations in the Dutch sports and breaking community.

Planet Pop’N is a leading dance battle focused on the Popping style. During the event, national and international leaders come to compete for titles and prizes.

#BRAINCANDIES LARGE LIVE is an event where people from different backgrounds interact with each other in a playful way, while sharing their opinions on important social issues.

Colors is a unique competition for any type of genre of dance and level. Every year the Urban Dansdagen festival starts with this `club meets improvisation` evening. The preselection takes place during a party where judges pick their favourite 8 dancers from the crowd. The club is then transformed into a mini theater stage where the selected dancers choose a color to improvise to. Every colour is connected to a inner state of being and to a specific musical piece. this years the music and the selection is chosen by the Strikeplank collective.
